How did I miss this??? I have seen Scandinavian gnomes, but never knew the history behind them. Wow. I love that the goats and gnomes have morphed into something sweeter. I find it so interesting that Thor flew goats and they were resurrected after sacrifice. It’s like part of the truth in Christ, except not. (Reminds me of the scripture about sheep vs goats.) Pagan to Christian. Such a transition and I have to say I like the more kid-friendly versions now.
I do have to say, now I wanna visit that town with the massive goat. Let’s go some Christmas season!! Nordic cruise??
